Marine incident: Missing man at Innisfail

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 66-year-old man, after his vessel was destroyed by fire in Innisfail yesterday, November 4 at midday.

Raffaele Pagliarini was last seen on board his boat on the Johnson River on November 3.

Extensive inquiries were conducted throughout the afternoon to locate Raffaele, who remains outstanding.

Raffaele is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall, with an Italian accent, brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about Raffaele's whereabouts is urged to immediately contact police.

The vessel has been declared a crime scene and police divers are returning to the vessel today to conduct searches of the surrounding area.
