Police have arrested a Bandidos associate and seized a large quantity of dangerous and restricted drugs during the raid of a Fortitude Valley apartment yesterday, Queensland Police say.
Officers from Taskforce Maxima executed the search warrant on the Anderson Street apartment as part of an operation focused on the illegal distribution of drugs within inner city Brisbane by members and associates of the Bandidos OMCG.
Police seized cocaine and ecstasy as well as steroids and pharmaceutical drugs.
The 41-year-old British citizen was charged with one count of supply dangerous drug, four counts of possess dangerous drug and five counts of possess restricted drug.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 16.
"For those OMCGs who think they can outsmart us and avoid detection, we will find you. We are actively seizing on every available opportunity to target those members and their associates who continue to engage in illicit and criminal behaviour," Detective Inspector Phillip Stevens of Taskforce Maxima said.
