Lithgow Council
The Mayor and Councillors have been out visiting residents in aged care facilities right around the LGA over the last week sharing morning and afternoon teas at Three Tree Lodge, Cooinda and Tabulam.
The Council strives to meet residents where they are and for older residents, engaging with the community can sometimes be difficult.
Small initiatives like this allow residents to be included in conversations about their community while also creating a wonderful opportunity for socialisation.
Thank you to all the aged care providers and residents for warmly welcoming the Council.
