Mayoral commendation for world class IGA in Dromana

On behalf of Mornington Peninsula Shire, Mayor Councillor David Gill has awarded a Mayoral Commendation to Ritchies Supa IGA in Dromana.
Earlier this year, the store was awarded the title of International Retailer of the Year at the IGA Global Awards in San Diego, America.
Mayor Gill joined Seawinds Ward Councillors Simon Brooks and Antonella Celi to present the award to Ritchies Group Chief Executive Fred Harrison, Dromana Store Manager Lucas Allan, and Ritchies National Advertising and Promotions Manager James Cameron on site at the Dromana store.
Mayor Gill said the Shire is proud to celebrate the success of local businesses.
"I congratulate the team at Dromana on their win, it's a tribute to the quality of products and services they deliver to our community.
"The Shire supports local businesses with guidance, advice, and workshops through our Economic Development team to ensure our businesses are well placed to develop and grow for the benefit of the entire community".
Seawinds Ward Councillor Simon Brooks said "it's fantastic to have an international award-winning store in our community offering a range of goods from our local growers and producers that supports the Peninsula's strong agriculture industry".
