Melissa McConnell steps down from Cricket Victoria Board

Cricket Victoria announces that Board member Melissa McConnell has made the decision to step down from her position as Director.

Ms McConnell was elected to the Board in 2021 and has played an important role in guiding the organisation through a period of growth and transformation.

Cricket Victoria Chair Ross Hepburn thanked Ms McConnell for her service and commitment.

"Melissa is a passionate and dedicated advocate for cricket in Victoria and has a deep belief in grassroots community cricket. She has provided strong governance oversight that has helped shape the organisation's direction. On behalf of the Board and the Victorian cricket community, I thank her for her contribution and wish her the very best for the future," the Chair said.

Cricket Victoria will now commence a process to fill the vacant Board position.
