Brunswick police are appealing for public assistance to help return three medals to their rightful owner, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the medals were located on Brunswick Road, Brunswick on Friday 23 September and were handed in to police by a good samaritan.
Investigators have released images of the medals in the hope that someone may recognise them.
Anyone with information about the medals is urged to contact Brunswick Police Station on 8378 6000.
