MEDIA ADVISORY: Chifley Police District - National Police Remembrance Day 2019

Chifley Police District Commander, Acting Superintendent Luke Rankin, will join officers and distinguished guests at All Saints Cathedral in Bathurst for a service to honour fallen police today (Friday 27 September 2019).

This year marks the 30-year anniversary of National Police Remembrance Day. The service will commemorate the service and sacrifice of 273 members of the NSW Police Force who have lost their lives in the line of duty and through injury or illness since the formation of the NSW Police Force in 1862.

Local media are invited to attend the service, following which morning tea will be served.
