Metal madness in Moorabool

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following the theft of material from a business in Moorabool this month.

It is believed up to four offenders with a vehicle and trailer attended a Ballan Road premises on three separate occasions between the hours of 1am and 5.30am on 7, 8 and 9 March.

Across the three mornings, they took four large rolls of aluminium worth a significant amount of cash.

Investigators have released CCTV vision and an image of a vehicle and trailer believed to have been used during the offences in the hope someone recognises them and can provide information.

It is believed the vehicle may be a dark-coloured, late-model Ford Ranger.

At this stage police have not been able to determine whether the ute was previously stolen.
