Minister for Skills and Training Brendan O'Connor will travel to New Delhi and Indore, India to attend the G20 Labour and Employment Ministers' Meeting.
While there, the Minister will hold several bilateral meetings with a number of G20 nations, including India, to further strengthen international ties and cooperation regarding employment, skills and training.
The Minister will also share with the international community the work Australia is undertaking to reform skills and training delivery in Australia.
G20 nations will consider global skills challenges, improving social protections for workers - especially those working in gig and platform economies - and sustainable financing of social protections.
