Missed the turning the screws on crime day event?

Newport Watch Coordinator Pam Bauze with her lovely volunteers provided a free BBQ to the community, Queensland Police say.

If you missed the ‘Turning the Screws on Crime Day’ event at Scarborough last Saturday do not fear! You can pick up a set of tamper proof screws from either the Redcliffe, Deception Bay or Burpengary Police stations – all that you need to know is the make and model of your vehicle so that the correct tamper proof screw can be given to you for your number plates.

A big thanks goes out to Neighbourhood Watch Newport for supporting the event which saw 70 vehicles fitted with tamper proof screws. Also to the wonderful community members who came along to find out more about crime prevention initiatives that we have available in the Moreton District.
