Missing 12-year-old girl, Algester

UPDATE Friday, August 7: Police have received information the 12-year-old girl may be in the Sunshine Coast / Maroochydore area.

Police have also received another image of the girl.

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a 12-year-old girl missing from South Brisbane.

She was last seen at a Hinterland Crescent address in Algester around 4pm on Tuesday, August 4 and has not been heard from since.

Police and family hold concern for her well-being, given her young age.

The girl is described as 165cm in height, Aboriginal, of a proportionate build with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a large dark hoodie, black shorts and black shoes.

Anyone who has seen her or has further information is urged to contact police.
