Missing 12yo girl, Aitkenvale

Townsville police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 12-year-old girl missing in Aitkenvale since August 25.

The girl was last seen in Charles Street around midday and is believed to possibly be staying with friends in the local area.

The girl is known to frequent local shopping centres with other children.

Police and family hold concern for her safety and wellbeing due to her age.

She is described as Aboriginal, approximately 140cms tall with a proportionate build.

She was last seen wearing a black Adidas jumper, black t-shirt, black shorts and black slide thongs.

The girl, or anyone with any information in relation to her current whereabouts, is urged to contact police (details below).
