Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 15-year-old boy missing from Longreach since September 22.
The boy (pictured) was last seen on foot along the Old Winton Highway and has not been seen since.
Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and the remoteness of the area where he was last seen.
Officers believe he may be travelling towards the Townsville area.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall, of slim build, with blue/hazel eyes and short, mousey blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a grey and white checkered shirt, blue denim jeans, and a distinctive blue and white 'BEEF PEDDLERS' hat (pictured).
Police are appealing to the boy, or anyone with information that could assist in locating him, to contact police.
