Missing 70-year-old man in Haberfield

Police searching for a 70-year-old man missing from an Inner West aged care facility are appealing for public assistance, NSW Police say.

Max Dyhurst was last seen at the facility on Haberfield Road, Haberfield, in the early hours of Thursday 2 November 2017.

While his disappearance is not out of character, there are concerns for Mr Dyhurst’s welfare as he suffers from a medical condition for which he requires treatment. He has not been missing this long before and has no access to money.

Mr Dyhurst is described as being of Caucasian appearance with grey hair which is bald on top and he has a grey beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured jumper, pants and black leather shoes.

He has previously been known to frequent the Sydney Airport, Pyrmont, Drummoyne, Haberfield, Concord and surrounding areas.

Anyone who sees Mr Dyhurst should contact Ashfield Police immediately.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
