Missing 76-year-old manin Brisbane

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate a 76-year-old man reported missing from Shorncliffe this afternoon.

Christopher Burke was last seen leaving a Cotton Street residence around 4pm before boarding a train bound for Manly a short time later.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Officers and Christopher's family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and not having access to medication for a medical condition.

Christopher is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 160cm tall with short white hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts with blue shoes, carrying a blue umbrella.

Police are asking Christopher, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, to contact police urgently.
