Police are appealing for assistance from the public to help locate a 79-year-old man, Alan Schwarz, missing from Mooloolaba.
He was last seen on Mooloolaba Esplanade at about 9.15 am.
Concerns are held for his safety as he has not returned home or contacted family, this behaviour is out of character and he has a medical condition.
He is described as around 177cms tall, he has grey hair and a heavy build and last seen wearing a black shirt, beige shorts, sport shoes and a black puffer jacket.
Police urge the Alan or anyone who may have seen him or knows his whereabouts to contact police.
