Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 9-year-old boy reported missing from Waterford West this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
The boy (pictured) was last seen around 3.45pm at Tygum Lagoon off Kingston Road and Tygum Road.
Police hold concerns for the boy due to his young age.
He was last seen wearing an orange and black school uniform with a black jumper, and was carrying a white satchel bag.
He is described as Caucasian, 120cm tall with a proportionate build, light brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who may have seen the boy or has any information in relation to his current whereabouts is urged to contact police.
