Missing boy - Northern Beaches, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing 9-year-old Northern Beaches boy, NSW Police say.

About 4.30pm yesterday (Friday 1 December 2017), Mario Caruso was last seen in Cross Street, Balgowlah.

When the boy was unable to be located his disappearance was reported to police at Northern Beaches Local Area Command earlier this morning (Saturday 2 December 2017).

Police, along with Mario’s family, hold grave concerns for his welfare as he has a mild intellectual disability.

Mario is described as being of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance, 150cm tall, with a medium build and short black hair.

When he was last seen, Mario was wearing a t-shirt, grey school shorts and brown boots.

Anyone with information about his location is urged to contact Triple Zero ("000").

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
