Missing boy, Waterford West

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 13-year-old boy, missing from Waterford West, Queensland Police say.

The boy was last seen on May 15 at a Mark Lane address and reported missing to police today.

It is believed he may be in the Woodridge or Altandi areas.

The boy is described as 145cm tall, with a slim build, of Aboriginal descent with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black cargo shorts and a black collared shirt with a white logo on the front

Police and family have concerns for his welfare because of his age and the length of time since he has contacted family.

Anyone who sees the boy is urged to contact police.
