Missing bushwalker located safe, TAS

A missing bush walker, who was believed to have been lost in the North East area, has been located safe and well this morning, Tasmania Police say.

Last night police received a Triple Zero call from AJ Amed Rozgay who indicated that he was injured and missing but did not know his location.

Police commenced a search using the Westpac Rescue Helicopter last night.

Police contacted the man’s friends in Victoria last night and this morning were advised that the 34 year old from Victoria had returned to the home of an associate near Pioneer last night and was safe and well.
