Missing cattle at Pittsworth

Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) are seeking public assistance in relation to 15 steers that went missing from a property north of Pittsworth.

Police believe the mob of mixed bred flat back steers went missing or were stolen sometime between 4.30pm on Tuesday (27 July) and 8am yesterday in the vicinity of Lochaber Road.

They are described as mixed bred flat back steers, approximately 220-280kg. In appearance, there is a mixture of Angus, Charolais, Santa Gertrudis and Droughtmaster crosses, as depicted in the video and photographs. A white management tag with DALEY was inserted in their left side ear.

MOCS Rural detectives are requesting information from anyone who may have sighted suspicious activity in the area over the last few days, or anyone that may be aware of a person who has recently acquired cattle by an unknown means or advertised cattle for sale.
