Missing elderly woman, Indooroopilly

Police are asking for public assistance to help locate 84-year-old Janice Haines missing from Indooroopilly this evening (Tuesday December 6).

She's believed to have left a Berlasco Court dwelling on foot around 6.45pm.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition which causes disorientation and lack of awareness for her safety, especially around roads. Motorists are urged to drive with caution in and around the area.

Janice is described as Caucasian in appearance, 160cm tall with a slim build.

She was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt and long black pants.

Residents in Indooroopilly and surrounds are asked to check under their houses, in sheds and carports for signs of Janice.

Anyone else with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
