Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Newtown since yesterday, Queensland Police say.
The girl was last seen at about 9.15pm at an address in Walsh Street however has not made contact since.
Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
The girl is described as Aboriginal, 160cm tall, solid build, black hair and brown eyes.
Information suggests the girl may be attempting to travel to the Mt Isa area.
Any members of the public who have seen this girl or who have information in relation to her whereabouts are asked to contact police.
