Missing girls at Kingaroy

Police are seeking public assistance to locate two teenage girls missing from Kingaroy today, August 18.

The girls, aged 13 and 14, were last seen at approximately 12pm, and have not been seen or heard from since.

They are believed to be travelling in a white 2003 Toyota Rav 4.

Police and family have serious concerns for the girls' welfare due to their young age.

The 13-year-old is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall with a heavy build, brown hair and blue eyes.

The 14-year-old is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and green-blue eyes.

While their whereabouts is unknown, police believe the pair may be in the Eight Mile Plains or Goodna areas.

Police are appealing to the girls, or anyone who has seen them or the car, to immediately come forward.
