Missing girls, Nerang

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate two girls who have been missing since yesterday afternoon.

The two girls (pictured below) aged 13 and 9 were last seen leaving a Nerang address around 2pm yesterday (May 7).

The 13-year-old teenage girl is described as Pacific Islander, about 155cm tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white and blue tie-dye shirt and carrying a grey bag.

The 9-year-old girl is described as Caucasian, about 140cm tall with dark brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and shorts.

Police are concerned for both girl's welfare due to their young ages and this behaviour is out of character.

Police are appealing for either the girls or anyone who has seen them or has information to contact police immediately.
