Missing man and boy in Gympie, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 39-year-old man and 11-month-old boy reported missing from the Gympie area, Queensland Police say.

The pair (pictured) were last seen by family in Gympie on November 20 and have not contacted them since.

Investigators believe the pair may be travelling to New South Wales with information placing them in Stanthorpe on November 23.

Police hold concerns for their welfare as this behaviour is out of character.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall, of a slim build with short hair.

The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The pair may be travelling in a black 2009 Ford XR6 (similar to pictured) with Queensland registration 818-VZR or New South Wales Registration BVL-27U.
