Missing man at Mermaid Beach, QLD

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 46-year-old man reported missing from Mermaid Beach, Queensland Police say.

Henry Roach (pictured) was last seen leaving a resort hotel on the Gold Coast Highway at Mermaid Beach around 11.30pm on Friday December 8 and was believed to be heading to Surfers Paradise.

Henry is a New Zealand national and has been holidaying with his family.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as he has made no contact with his family and his disappearance is very out of character.

Henry (pictured) is described as Maori in appearance, approximately 180cm tall, with muscular build, shaved head, brown eyes and a tattoo on his right upper arm.

He was last seen wearing a white Crusaders supporter’s rugby jersey (as pictured), blue jeans, black New Balance sneakers and was carrying a black bumbag/satchel.
