Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 41-year-old man David Lamble.
The Bairnsdale man told his family he was staying with mates for a few days on Wednesday 7 August and has not been seen since.
David is described as Caucasian in appearance with brown short hair and a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a brown jumper, tracksuit pants and was carrying a backpack.
Investigators have released an image of David in the hope someone knows of his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees David or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Bairnsdale Police Station on 5150 2600.
