Police are appealing for public assistance to locate missing Pakenham man David Margetts.
Police have been told the 65-year-old left his work in Dandenong and walked to a Pakenham address where he was last seen about 2pm this afternoon.
David has not been in touch with his family or friends since.
Police and family have concerns for David's welfare as it is out of character.
David is described as Caucasian, 180cm tall with white hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, white t-shirt, dark coloured shorts and white runners.
Police have released an image of David in the hope someone recognises him and knows of his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees David is asked to contact Pakenham Police Station on 5945 2500.
