Missing man in Nowra

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing in Nowra, NSW Police say.

Charlie MAZZO, aged 50, was last seen in Nowra driving a silver Kia Rio hatchback with NSW registration DBL-11W about 1.30pm yesterday.

Mr Mazzo suffers from a medical condition that requires medication and police have serious concerns for his welfare.

He may be attempting to return to his home at Worrigee.

Mr Mazzo is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with black receding hair, olive complexion, and of a large build.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey t-shirt with a black monogram on the front and a blue hooded jacket.

He is believed to frequent the Kiama, Lake Illawarra and Wollongong areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
