Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Jacques Cherbuin.
It is believed the 22-year-old may be in the CBD or Carlton Gardens area.
He is described as 170cm tall, slim build with blonde wavy hair and blue eyes.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he last made contact with a friend on 6 May and has not been heard from since.
Police have released an image of Jacques in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Jacques is urged to contact Melbourne North Police Station on 8379 0800.
