Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 81-year-old Tarneit man Michael Galvin.
Michael was last seen at his home address in Thames Boulevard about 6.30pm last night.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and the length of time he has been missing.
Michael is known to frequent Tarneit and Point Cook and may be travelling in a silver Toyota Corolla, registration WOO-199.
Investigators have released an image of Michael in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Michael's whereabouts is asked to Werribee Police Station on 9742 9444.
