Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Rodney Thomas.
The 81-year-old was last seen on Darlington Avenue in Wheelers Hill about 11am.
He is described as 182cm tall with white hair and was wearing black pants, navy blue jacket and sneakers.
Rodney has memory loss as a result of Alzheimer's and sometimes frequents the Jells Park area.
Police have released an image of Rodney in the hope that someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who has seen Rodney is urged to contact Glen Waverley Police Station on 9566 1555.
