Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Tommaso Lunedei.
The 80-year-old was last seen on Lockyers Road in Lara in a blue Holden Barina with registration YRS778 about 5pm today.
Tommaso is described as approximately 165cm tall and balding with a comb over.
He was last seen wearing black pants, a grey top, black shoes and glasses.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has dementia and only speaks Italian and may be disorientated.
He moved to Lara from Werribee three weeks ago and does not know the area well.
Police have released an image of Tommaso in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Tommaso is asked to contact the Corio Police Station on 5273 9555.
