Missing Man's Car Located In Wingan State Forest

Police located a distinctive yellow Holden Commodore in the search for missing Belgrave man Evan on Saturday.

The 24-year-old left his home in his Commodore on McNicol Road around midnight on Friday 31 July.

Evan's Commodore was located in East Gippsland's Wingan State Forest, after last being spotted travelling through Bairnsdale and Cann River in the early hours of Saturday 1 August.

Evan is still missing despite a thorough search of the Wingan State Forrest over the weekend.

Uniform officers were joined by Search and Rescue, Airwing, K9 units, SES and representatives from Fisheries Victoria.

The search will continue tomorrow in the Wingan State Forest and into the Croajingolong National Park.

Checks of Evan's bank accounts have shown no activity since his disappearance.

Evan is described as Caucasian, approximately 183cm tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

Investigators have released a photo of Evan in the hope someone can provide information on his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is completely out of character.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) or Lilydale Police Station on (03) 9739 2300.
