Missing Persons Week 2019 - Missing Person Luis Fernandez

As part of this year's Missing Persons Week, police are renewing their appeal to locate a man who went missing in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs eight months ago.

Luis Fernandez, aged 79, was last seen at his home on Florence Avenue, Eastlakes, on Christmas Day 2018 (Tuesday 25 December 2018).

His family reported him missing to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command on Tuesday 1 January 2019 after he failed to return home.

Police, along with his friends and family, hold serious concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.

Mr Fernandez is described as being of South American appearance and walks with a limp.

He has a slim build, short grey hair, beard and has a scar on his right cheek and usually wears glasses.

Anyone who has seen Mr Fernandez, or has information as to his whereabouts, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
