Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing boy Ashton Vlcek.
The 11-year-old was last seen leaving his Strathmore home on a black mountain bike about 10.30am today.
Ashton is described as 170cm, with a slim build and short blond hair.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike hoodie, blue denim shorts, white runners and had a black helmet on.
Police and family hold concerns for Ashton's welfare due to his age.
Police have released an image of Ashton in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Ashton is urged to contact Moonee Ponds Police Station on 9373 5200.
