Police in the state’s far north are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 15-year-old girl missing in the Cairns area, Queensland Police say.
The girl, pictured, is possibly residing in the Smithfield or Northern Beaches area and police are urging the girl, or anyone who knows her current whereabouts, to contact them.
The teen was last seen on April 16 in the Northern Beaches area but it is believed she may have visited the Cairns North and Smithfield areas since this time.
The girl is described as having a fair complexion, approximately 160cms tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and a slim build.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
