Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from Fairfield West.
Christopher Close, aged 13, last seen at his home on Lord Street, Fairfield West about 11:30pm on Wednesday the 2 January 2019.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and have since been unable to locate him.
His parents and police hold concerns for Christopher's welfare as he has not been seen or heard from since.
Christopher is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of a thin build, about 155cm tall, with short black hair, and brown eyes.
He may frequent the Marrickville area.
Anyone who sees Christopher or believes they know his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
