Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Joshua Lynch.
The 16-year-old left his home on Carter Avenue in Nunawading to go out with friends about 8am on Wednesday 14 August.
He has not been seen since and has not been in touch with his family.
Police and family have concerns for Joshua's welfare due to a medical condition and his age.
Joshua is described as Caucasian in appearance, 186cm tall with a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a jacket, pants, runners and possibly a white cap.
Investigators have released an image of Joshua in the hope someone knows of his current whereabouts.
It is believed Joshua may frequent Croydon, Ringwood and Ferntree Gully areas.
