Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Glenroy teenager Michaela Hangan.
The 16-year-old was last seen at her home on George Street sometime between 3pm and 4pm on Sunday 12 January.
Police and family have concern's for Michaela's welfare due to her age.
Michaela is described as Caucasian, 160cm tall with a medium build and was last seen wearing a t-shirt with black leggings and black runners.
Police have released an image of Michaela in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Michaela is asked to contact the Fawkner Police Station on 9355 6000.
