Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Ivanhoe teenager Shayn Mulcahy-Marshall.
The 16-year-old boy was last seen on 7 August at his home address on Beatty Street.
Police and family members hold concerns for Shayn's welfare due to his age and the length of time he's been missing.
Shayn is described as 160cm tall with a slim build and short blond hair.
He is known to frequent the Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Glenroy areas.
Police have released an image of Shayn in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Shayn or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Heidelberg Police Station on 9450 8000.
