Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 15-year-old boy reported missing from Newtown yesterday, May 2.
The boy was last seen leaving Avondale Street around 10.20am for a bike ride to Picnic Point Park in Rangeville.
He failed to return and has not made contact since.
Family and police are concerned for his welfare as the disappearance is out of character.
The boy is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cm tall, a slim muscular build with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black shorts and black shoes.
Initial investigations indicate the boy may be travelling in the Toowoomba area or towards Deception Bay.
Anyone with information regarding the boy's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
