Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Janevee Carter.
The 14-year-old was last seen leaving her Melton South home on 28 January.
Police and family have concerns for Janevee's welfare due to her age and the length of time she has been missing.
Janevee is described as being about 156cm tall with an athletic build and long braided hair.
Police have released an image of Janevee in the hope someone recognises her.
Anyone who sees Janevee is urged to contact Melton Police Station on 03 9747 7999.
