Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Mitchel Byass.
The 14-year-old was last seen in South Melbourne about 5pm.
He was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey or brown pants and blue Adidas runners.
He is known to frequent the area around Whiteman Street in Southbank.
An image has been released in the hope someone recognises him or has information regarding his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Mitchel or has information on his current whereabouts is urged to contact South Melbourne Police Station on 9257 3800.
