A woman missing from the Bega area has been found safe and well.
The 83-year-old woman was last seen leaving a club on Gipps Street, Bega, about 3.30pm yesterday (Sunday 21 May 2023).
When she failed to return home and could not be located, officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following a public appeal and Geo-target SMS campaign, she was located safe and well by a member of the public about 11.40pm yesterday (Sunday 21 May 2023) in Bega.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
