Missing Person - Larrimah - Update #6

Detectives continue to investigate the suspicious circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Patrick ‘Paddy’ Moriarty.

Mr Moriarty was last seen at the Larrimah Hotel at 6:00pm on Saturday 16 December 2017, Northern Territory Police say.

A comprehensive search and investigation has so far failed to find Mr Moriarty or his dog Kellie.

Detective Sergeant Matt Allen said the investigation was continuing with places of interest being systematically searched.

"Over the last week police divers, detectives and forensic investigators searched Larrimah Dam, which is located approximately one kilometre west of Larrimah.

"The dam can now be eliminated as a possible place Mr Moriarty could be."

Detective Sergeant Allen said investigators would now move on to the next site of interest.

"Our priority at this stage is finding Paddy, we continue to ask anyone who was in or travelled through Larrimah on 16 December 2017 and who hasn’t yet spoken to police to please contact us on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers.
