On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Moldova on the anniversary of their independence.
The United States is proud to continue strengthening our partnership with Moldova. Over the past year, our two countries have deepened cooperation across a range of shared priorities. We have expanded economic ties, strengthened border security, and worked together to promote stability in the region.
As Moldova celebrates 35 years of freedom, the United States remains committed to supporting the Moldovan people's sovereignty and independence. On this day, I extend my warmest wishes to the people of Moldova for continued peace, prosperity, and progress.
