More than $70,000 of Multicultural Grants Available

The Territory Labor Government is offering another $70,000 in funding through the Multicultural Grants Program for 2021-22.

Applications for round two of the Multicultural Grants Program are open until 30 September 2021.

The program aims to assist migrant and multicultural Territorians to expand their own community organisations, and develop the Northern Territory's social and cultural inclusivity.

Projects, events and activities that promote and celebrate social inclusion, cohesion, multicultural diversity and linguistic diversity are eligible for funding.

This year the Territory Government has offered over $1 million worth of Multicultural Grants for communities to:

  • upgrade multicultural facilities as well as
  • hold events, and
  • language classes and for support programs.

This grant funding will also support local jobs and businesses.
