"Oh god, this is very early for me! You woke me up. I don't know what day it is," she said.
"Wait, $500,000? Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Are you serious? That's half a million dollars.
"My wife is going, 'What? What?'. We just won half a million dollars!
"Now she's jumping up and down, going, 'We own our house! We own our house!'. We're gobsmacked.
"You are the cat's pyjamas! This is the best call in my entire life! I've never been happier to be woken up from my sleep!
"You have no idea how much this is going to help. It's extraordinary.
"My wife is asking how I am not going crazy right now, but honestly, I'm trying not to scream in your poor ear!
"I've been playing for 40 years so I can't even believe it.
"I also can't believe we'll own our house. There will certainly be a holiday booked in soon now too."
Her winning marked System 7 entry was purchased on The Lott website - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
Mornington man eyes new wheels with TattsLotto win
A Mornington man's plans for retirement have been boosted by the revelation he won more than $546,000 in the weekend's TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian was oblivious to his good fortune until we called to break the winning news.
"Oh my god! This is unbelievable," the man exclaimed.
"That is fantastic! Holy Jesus!
"I would have been happy with $100,000, so $500,000 is just amazing!
"I didn't expect that at all.
"I've been playing these numbers for decades - some are family birthday numbers.
"This is going to help out immensely. It's going to do a hell of a lot.
"I'm retired, so this gives me a great retirement fund. I might upgrade the car, and I'll put it in the bank and think about the rest."
The man's winning marked 6-game entry was purchased at Inside Story Mornington, Shop 1-06 Mornington Village Shopping Centre, 241 Main Street, Mornington.
Inside Story Mornington owner John Pugsley said he was stunned but so excited to have sold a division one winning entry.
"I was in shock when I first found out, but very, very pleased for the winner," he said.
"We've had 16 division one wins over about 40 years. We have many loyal regular customers, and I know they will all be very happy for us.
"Some of our customers have been saying that other states always seem to have the division one winners. We can now say to them that's definitely not true!
"Congratulations to our winner on your win! I hope it makes a really positive difference to you."
